The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G is an F-mount medium telephoto prime built for FX-format Nikon DSLRs and fully compatible with DX bodies. It uses Nikon’s Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for fast, quiet autofocus with full-time manual override (M/A), and its Internal Focus (IF) design keeps the barrel length constant while focusing. With a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture, a 67mm filter thread, and a weight of just 350g, this lens is a natural fit for portraiture, low-light work, and video.
