Nikon’s 3-stop Vibration Reduction compensates for camera shake so you can shoot sharp images handheld in lower light and at longer focal lengths where blur is most likely. The built-in Silent Wave Motor delivers fast, near-silent autofocus on every Nikon DX body ever produced — including entry-level cameras like the D3000, D3400, and D3500 that have no in-body focus motor. The A/M switch lets you instantly override autofocus with manual control without changing modes — a practical advantage when tracking moving subjects.
